Ruth is a STOTT trained Pilates instructor and has been teaching for over 13 years across London, the UK and Europe. Ruth’s background in Sports Science and dance ensures that all classes are designed to balance the body in a safe, yet challenging and creative way. Ruth teaches one-to-one mat Pilates in London, online Pilates classes, Pilates in the workplace, and works with athletes, dancers, footballers, pre and post-natal women and young and older individuals with all levels of fitness. Ruth is also trained in barre, and yoga and mindfulness for children.
Ruth runs Pilates retreats in Europe (Mallorca, Sicily, the South of France, Spain and the UK) as well as teaching SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) Pilates and SUP yoga during the spring and summer months in the UK, Europe and at festivals such as Latitude and Wilderness Festival.
Ruth is currently teaching in person classes at Greenwich Pilates on Wednesday evenings: Pre-natal Pilates 6pm – 7pm and Core Pilates 7.10pm – 8.10pm
Ruth works with individuals, couples and small groups to offer home Pilates across South East and Central London. Ruth can work with individuals to reduce back and joint pain, improve core strength and fitness, prepare for pregnancy and birth, improve flexibility for sport, and reduce risk of injury or return from injury.
